Platform Navigation
Dashboard
The Dashboard is the organization-wide observability view. Use it to understand activity, health, cost behavior, and module usage across AI traffic.
The dashboard is designed for operational context rather than as a fixed set of reports. Views may evolve as the platform adds more observability signals.
Applications
The Applications section is where you manage the AI-powered products, services, environments, or customer-facing surfaces that send traffic through Optiak. Each application has its own credentials, enabled models, module configuration, request history, cost settings, and observability views.
From an application's detail page you can:
- Review usage and reliability in Overview
- Inspect request traces in Requests
- Configure guardrails, data integrations, tools, models, Smart Router, inference defaults, and cost budget in Modules
- Create and revoke application API keys in Credentials
- Pause or delete the application from Settings when you are an admin
Company Setup
The Company Setup section contains organization-level configuration. These settings control what applications are allowed to use.
- Governance - Set organization-wide data residency and data training restrictions.
- Data Integrations - Enable vector search, create data sources, upload files, and decide which data sources are available to applications.
- Tools - Enable organization-level tools such as web search.
- Models - Add provider keys, edit provider keys, and enable models in the shared catalog.
Most capabilities have two levels:
- Enable the capability in Company Setup so the organization can use it.
- Enable or narrow the capability in each application's Modules section.
For example, vector search must be enabled for the organization, at least one data source must be available, and the application must enable vector search before a request can use it.
Settings
The Settings section shows organization information and team members.
Admins can change member roles between Admin and Member. Members can view applications and platform setup, but cannot modify applications, provider keys, model settings, governance settings, or team roles.
Permissions
Optiak uses two user roles:
- Admin - Can manage applications, credentials, provider keys, platform setup, and member roles.
- Member - Can view applications and company setup, but cannot change protected configuration.
